New builds are exciting - but they almost always come with bare, unfinished yards that need a lot of attention before they actually feel like home. That's exactly the kind of work we've been knee-deep in lately. Getting fresh plants in the ground, laying clean mulch beds, and making sure every detail lines up with the house itself.
What we love about working on new construction is the blank canvas. No overgrown beds to rip out, no guessing what's underneath. We get to set the tone from scratch. On one of these new builds, we installed a curved paver entry that sweeps right up to the front door - a small detail that makes a big first impression. Paired with fresh shrubs, natural boulders, and dark mulch beds, the whole front of the house just comes together.
On another property, we ran a long row of arborvitae along the property line with fresh dark mulch laid clean on both sides. That kind of planting does double duty - it adds privacy while also giving the yard some structure and definition right away. It's one of those decisions that pays off more and more as the plants grow in.
We also put in a side bed along a walkway with a young Japanese maple as the anchor - mulched out and ready to grow. It's the kind of detail that most people don't think about until they're standing at the front door wishing they'd done it sooner. Getting the plantings in early gives everything a head start.
Whether it's a new build that needs a full landscape plan from the ground up, or an existing property that just needs the beds freshened up and some new plants added - we approach every job the same way. Clean lines, the right plants in the right spots, and mulch that actually stays put. We take pride in making your home look cared for, and it shows.
