We took time away from the day-to-day to do something that doesn't show up on a job site but makes a real difference for our customers - learning how to run a better business.
We attended a hands-on workshop focused on the systems, numbers, and planning that go into running a landscaping company the right way. The kind of stuff that affects how quickly we respond to you, how smoothly your job gets scheduled, and whether or not we actually show up when we say we will.
One of the big focuses was figuring out where capacity gets lost and how work flows through the business. That might sound like an inside-baseball topic, but it has a direct impact on the experience you have as a customer. When we have tighter systems, fewer things fall through the cracks.
We're not interested in just being good at the physical work - though that matters a lot too. We want to be a company that's easy to work with from the first call to the last cleanup. That takes intentional effort and ongoing improvement.
Growth doesn't happen by accident. We're putting in the work behind the scenes so that every customer interaction is better than the last.
